The owners of the Barley Mow, beloved restaurant in West Reading, Pennsylvania, wanted to transform the upper floor of their existing building into a second eatery. With the intention of creating a "modern speakeasy," this project featured construction elements such as exposed brick and ceiling beams, a full-service kitchen, and an elevator.
